TROPICAL STORM OMAR NEAR
ARUBA.
Despite
all the warnings of an tropical depression in
the area of the islands Aruba, Bonaire and
Curacao still some local fisherman did not
removed their boats from the water and in some
cases they did not put additional lines to hold
them in place, the results on Tuesday Oct 14,
2008 the Tropical Depression #15 became Tropical
Storm Omar and the island suffered some serious
battering of heavy seas and wind coming from the
west and that is not common on the island of
Aruba. Click

BODY FOUND AT THE NORTH COAST OF ARUBA.
On
Monday June 16th Search
and Rescue Aruba was
notified that there
might be a body floating
in the sea at the North
Coast of the island.
After recovering the
body from the water
officials confiscated
the remains for autopsy
in order to determine
the exact cause of
death. At this moment
they have reasons to
believe that this was
one illegal trying to
enter the island though
the rough north coast
and did not make it.
